George Barnett was the third child of Arthur George Barnett and Kate Webster, born in Dunsden, Oxon cAugust 1880 as his age in April 1881 when the census was taken was 8 months.
In 1891 George was a pupil at Clarence House, London Rd, Reading as was his brother Arthur Reeve.
When the 1901 census was taken, 20 year old George was living at home with his parents in Caversham and his occupation was given as clerk in an office.
In 1911 George was still living at home with his parents & brother Harry at 33A Prospect St, Caversham & still working as a factory clerk.
At the time of proving his mother's Will in 1941, George was living in Talfourd Avenue, Reading, and his occupation was retired Departmental manager.
