One abiding family memory of Ken was Christmastime at Leechmere Rd when ‘Santa’ used to call down the chimney to all the children eagerly waiting for their presents in the living room. It was an unusual Santa that finally appeared with his sack as Ken was always tall and slim, not the usual Father Christmas figure!
Ken died in April 2006 at Middlesbrough.
Dot died on May 21st, 2016 & was buried beside Ken at St George's cemetery, Middlesbrough on June 17th, 2016.
