Florence Zillah Fry was the first child of Albert Edward Fry & Harriett Annie Grove christened November 3rd, 1878 at Christ Church, Croydon, Surrey.
In 1881 she was living at home at Brookshill Farm, Hartfield, & by 1891 the family had moved to Chartners Farm, Hartfield, bur father Albert Edward had died in 1890.
In 1901 Florence was a ladies companion to Agnes M Knight, a grocers wife, living at 42 Cavendish Place, Eastbourne.
By 1911 Florence had become governess to the 4 sons of Rev George Russell Sanders & his wife, Henrietta. They were living at the Davenham Rectory in the parish of Leftwich, Northwich, Cheshire. The household also had 6 servants.
