Agnes Amelia Fry was the second child of William Fry & Harriett Sargent born July-September 1868 at Netherfield, Battle, Sussex.
In 1871 Agnes was living with her parents, brothers & sisters & step brothers & sisters at Rats Farm, Netherfield, Battle.
In 1881 & 1891 Agnes was still at home with her family now at Boyles Farm, East Grinstead, Sussex.
Agnes married Albert Smeed in April-June 1892, the marriage being registered at East Grinstead. Albert was born July-September 1868 at East Grinstead, the son of Ellen & Charles Smeed, a farmer of Hoskins Farm, East Grinstead.
In 1901 Agnes & Albert were living at 59 Queen’s Rd, East Grinstead & Albert was described as a farmer’s son.
Agnes & Albert were still living in East Grinstead in 1911, now at Mount Noddy Cottage. Albert was now a carman & contractor. It appears that they had no children.
