Hagar Freeth [fh.4.6.1.2.11.2]

Hagar Freeth was the second child of Noah Freeth & Ann Robinson born Oct-December 1868 at West Bromwich.

In 1871 Hagar (Agar in census) was living with her parents & 2 brothers at Albert St, West Bromwich.

By 1881 the family had moved to 51 Mount Pleasant St, West Bromwich & Hagar now had 4 brothers & 2 sisters.

Hagar married George Edwards in Oct-December 1887 at St John, West Bromwich. George was born c1867 at Moxley, Staffs.

In 1891 Hagar & George were living at Colliery Cottages, Perry Barr, Handsworth, Staffs. They were lodging with Mary & John Smith, a coal miner. George was also a coal miner. They had 2 children – George (3) & Ann (1).

By 1901 they had moved to High Heath, Walsall Wood, Handsworth & George was described as a coal miner hewer. In addition to George & Ann they now had Job (9), Arthur (7), Esther (5) & Noah (2).
