In 1881 Adah was still at home at 45 High St, Smethwick, Staffs.
Adah married William Hackett in Oct-December 1886 at St Matthew, Smethwick. William was born c1867 at Smethwick, Staffs, the son of Susannah & Thomas Hackett, a general labourer.
In 1891 Adah & William were living at 147 Price St, Smethwick with their 1 year old daughter Winifred A. William’s occupation was not given.
By 1901 Adah & William & daughter Winifred had moved to 178 Rylance St, Ardwick, South Manchester, Lancs. William was described as a ‘mechanic (bolt & nut)’!
