Enoch Horton was the eighth child of William Horton & Elizabeth Hale christened October 15th, 1873 at Lower Gornall, Sedgley, Staffs.
In 1881 Enoch was living with his mother & father at Graveyard, Lower Gornall, Sedgley.
Enoch was still living with his parents in 1891, at Sandfield Bridge, Pensnett, Kingswinford, Staffs. His occupation was given as a carter.
Enoch married Eliza Maud Dunn in Jan-March 1897 at Dudley Register Office. Eliza was born October 11th, 1871 at Dudley, Worcs, the daughter of Ann (Nellie) & David Dunn, an engine fitter.
In 1901 Enoch & Eliza were living at 20 High St, Pensnett, Kingswinford, Staffs where Enoch was a hay & straw dealer with his own account. They had a 2 year old son Frank.
Enoch & Eliza were living at 13 Holland St, Dudley in 1911 & Enoch was described as a haulier with his own account. Son Frank was still at home.
