Emilia Bessie Horton was the second child of William Horton & Elizabeth Gamble born 1877 at West Bromwich, Staffs.
In 1881 Emilia was with her parents & younger sister Mary & older brother Harry at 240 St Pauls Rd, Harborne, Staffs.
Emilia was still living at home, now 38 Hope St, West Bromwich, in 1891 with her parents & younger sister & brothers Harry & Oswald.
Emilia married Benjamin Skidmore in Jan-March 1901 in West Bromwich. Benjamin was born Oct-December 1870 at West Bromwich.
At the time of the 1901 census Emilia & Benjamin were living at 57 Marshall St, Smethwick, Staffs. Benjamin was a collector to the gas department.
Emilia & Benjamin were still at 57 Marshall St in 1911 & Benjamin was still a collector for the gas department. They had a 5 year old daughter, Marjorie Emilia. Marjorie was to marry William Albert Groves & lived until 1992.
