Mabel Elizabeth Wall was the second child of Henry E Wall & Emma Rosanna Kettle born Oct-December 1878 at West Bromwich.
In 1881 Mabel & her parents were living at 3 Whitaker St, Litchurch, Derbyshire along with her brother Henry & newly-born brother Thomas.
By 1891 the family, now grown to include 7 children, had moved back to West Bromwich & were living at 9 Paradise St. Mabel, now 12, was a scholar.
Mabel was still living at home with her parents & 6 brothers & sisters in 1901 at 9 Paradise St & she was then working as a dressmaker.
Mabel married John Gadd at Christ Church, West Bromwich in April-June 1904.
