William Holyoake Wall was the seventh child of Henry Edward Wall & Emma Rosanna Kettle born January 1st, 1890 & christened January 11th, 1891 at St John's, West Bromwich. William's second name came from his mother's mother who was Rosanna Hollyoake.
William was living at 9 Paradise St, West Bromwich with his parents & brothers & sisters at the time of the 1891 census.
William,aged 11, was still living at home in Paradise St in 1901.
In 1911 William had become a railway carriage builder & was still living with his parents in Paradise St.
The 1939 register shows widowed William living with his brother George & his wife Annice Mary at 289 St Paul’s Rd, Smethwick & he was a coach body builder. William's marriage has not been found.
William died on December 28th, 1941 at 289 St Pauls Road, Smethwick, Staffs. Probate was granted on February 18th, 1942 to brother George, coach painter. His effects were £1,047.13s.6d.
